Introducing

Today’s top supporter is 47 year-old Chris Dickinson from Great Harwood. Chris has been supporting the Robins on and off for 18 years and can be found stood on the Pop-Side with his mates, Dave, James, William and myself. He can also be spotted at most of the away games and is undoubtedly one of our finest supporters.
Chris is married to the lovely Barbara (a grass widow) and has a gorgeous daughter called Gail.
Best moment watching Harwood came in the Lancs. Cup Final at Chorley when we were desperately unlucky to lose to a bunch of bruisers from Marine.
The worst moment was around three years ago when the Robins lost a Christmas derby 5-0 at Clitheroe. Chris’s favourite other teams are Burton Albion where he lived until he was nineteen years-old, and Morecambe, where he lived whilst he was a student. Favourite current player is John Eastham, who Chris rates as one of the best forwards that we’ve had in the last 18 years. Favourite former, and once again, present player, is Pete Smith, who Chris is delighted to see gracing the Showground once again at night matches.
Hobbies outside football include drinking real ale (hence the bloodshot eyes!) watching rugby league, travelling and scoffing. He likes honesty in a person and dislikes bigotry-racial and religious, and arrogance. Apart from the Showground naturally, Morecambe’s Christy Park is his favourite ground. It has a good atmosphere and is well designed. Hopefully Chris will be too busy supporting the Robins to make many visits to the coast-we need you here lad!
Keep up the superb support, today’s ‘super-fan’……….
