JO DAVIES –Harwood ‘physio’

I think that I can say without fear of contradiction that we have the most attractive and glamorous physio in this, or indeed any other league. Jo, who gave her age as ‘not far from 30’ has been with the Robins for two years and weighs in at 5’ 3” (and a bit) and is 9st. 2lbs. Unfortunately she hasn’t provided us with any vital statistics!
Before joining the Showground team, Jo completed a basic management and sports injuries course and is also a qualified first aider.
Her family consists of Dad Peter, Mum Jen, brothers Steven and Kerry and niece Chelsea.
Jo’s best moment whilst at Harwood was when we won promotion at the end of last season. The worst thing about her job as physio is the constant barrage of from opposition supporters which usually include the line-‘Oh hello love, can you give me some treatment, I’ve got a groin strain!’ For anyone thinking of using that chat up routine today-forget it, it’s been done before!
Mind you it has been noticed that our players do seem to need more treatment than opposition players. Most games she can be seen haring across the pitch, cold sponge in hand, ready to administer her ‘magic’.
Away from football, Jo enjoys drinking and having a laugh as well as socialising with her team-mates.
