The Robins ended a disappointing season in 19th place out of 21 clubs but escaped relegation thanks to their two vital away wins at Gretna and relegated Fleetwood. Lancaster City were crowned Champions and Alfreton Town were promoted as runners-up. Hyde United beat Leek Town in the Challenge Cup Final while Worksop Town defeated Guiseley in the Presidents Cup.
